IfSQ, the Institute for Software Quality, is a not for profit organisation which was established in order to produce, publish and promote a coherent, transparent set of open standards for Computer Program Source Code. The standards can be downloaded free of charge from http://www.ifsq.org/resources.html. IfSQ published its first standard (IfSQ Level-1: An Entry-Level Standard for Computer Program Source Code) in 2007 and its second standard (IfSQ Level-2: Foundation-Level) in 2008. Work on the third standard (IfSQ Level-3: Industry Best Practice) is ongoing and has reached the committee stage.
