ABOUT THE ORGANIZATIONEstablished in 1985, HopeGreyBruce is a non-profit charitable organization with an annual operating budget in excess of $7 million and a staff compliment of over 80 full and part-time staff. The organization is funded by the SW LHIN and the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long Term Care to provide a wide range of community-based mental health and addiction services throughout Grey and Bruce Counties. It currently operates 10 programs that together serve approximately 2,000 ongoing clients per year. We also host 2 of the 5 multi-agency community mental health teams that we operate in partnership with two other organizations.MISSIONOur Mission is healthier individuals, families and communities in Grey-Bruce through the provision of mental health and addiction services that are comprehensive, accessible, effective and client-centred. VISIONTo be an essential and visible participant in enhancing the wellness of our community by promoting Health, Opportunity, Partnership, and Empowerment (HOPE).OUR CORE SERVICES• Housing and community support for people with serious mental illness (residential, emergency housing, rent subsidized private sector apartments; outreach support/case management; social recreation/rehabilitation services)• Addiction services for adults, youth and their families/significant others (assessment, outpatient treatment, case management; treatment for pregnant and parenting moms; methadone maintenance treatment; addiction court support; supported housing)• Mental health counselling for adults with acute and long-term mental health problems• Primary care for people with mental illness and/or addiction• Health education and information (inc. workshops, resource libraries, websites)• Peer support services for people with mental illness and for family membersACCREDITATIONThe organization is accredited with Accreditation Canada and is slated for its first QMentum Survey in April, 2016.
