Hidden Gems Finland

The Hidden Gems programme aims to facilitate the employment and full integration of international spouses into the Finnish society. We are dedicated to support and empower international spouses. We support the growth and internationalisation by enabling local companies to tap into the hidden expertise of international spouses. #hiddengemsfinlandOur participants "Gems" are often dual-career spouses. A dual-career couple is a couple where both partners pursue a career and wish to have a paid employment. They may work in or outside academia. The Hidden Gems programme is an initiative by Tampere Universities and partly funded by the European Union social fund. The external funding was granted until February 2020. We are part of the national Talent Boost programme, focusing on international talent attraction and retention in Finland.
