The Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) is a membership organization that brings together executives and financial managers from provider organizations, physician practices, and health plan markets to collaborate and address the many financial challenges the US healthcare system faces today.An indispensable source for networking, practical tools, and industry news and perspectives, HFMA creates and delivers education, analyses, and tactical guidance to its members through a variety of programs and channels.The Northeast New York Chapter of HFMA is a professional organization that provides its membership with a forum for quality educational and professional development activities relating to all aspects of financial management of integrated healthcare organizations.Services of the Chapter include:Education – Provide a minimum of six (6) educational sessions per year.Disseminate Information – through our newsletter, emails and out new web page, timely and pertinent information will be delivered to our membersProfessional Development – We will make available through our meetings, social events and networking opportunities for professional development and advancement.Strong Leadership Training – Leadership will be continually challenged. Opportunities to attend leadership training will be expanded.Recognition – To recognize those members who achieve certification and present Founders Merit awards.
