Helping Hand provides residential aged care, home support services, health care and community programs to older people in metropolitan Adelaide and regional South Australia. Our comprehensive range of services reflects our commitment to choice for older people, and our investment in innovative research and partnerships shows our commitment to respond to our clients’ needs in the changing landscape of aged care in Australia.

Helping Hand has gone from strength to strength for seventy years, and now employs more than 2,000 staff and 600 volunteers, providing services to more than 7,000 clients across the state. Our work has a national influence on strategy for ageing – through direct consultation with the Commonwealth Government, we help shape thinking and policy. Our clients’ needs and their personal freedom drive how we innovate, plan, manage and deliver services – they are our motivation.
