Since 1986, TROPIC FERN has supplied customers with superior Leatherleaf fern (Rumohra adiantiformis), Treefern (Asparagus virgatus) and other foliages. Helechos de Nicaragua S.A. is a premium foliage grower and exporter with farms in both Costa Rica and Nicaragua. The farm units have been certified by the Rain Forest Alliance, MPS and Fair Flowers Fair Plants. Premium product, with long stems, dark green color and full foliage is shipped to our wholesale customers. After harvesting, hand grading, and packaging the ferns under meticulous quality control conditions, the boxed product is then cooled and loaded into refrigerated ocean containers or transported directly to nearby refrigerated air cargo terminals.
