About Heddle Shipyards
Heddle Shipyards, formerly Heddle Marine Service Inc., has operated shipyards in Canada for over 30 years. Our success is based on our commitment to safety, hard work and innovative thinking. Our core business is vessel repair, maintenance and overhauls (RMO). We own three floating dry docks which are located in Hamilton, ON, two graving docks located in Port Weller, ON and a graving dock in Thunder Bay, ON. Our dry docks are capable of docking the largest vessels that can transit the St. Lawrence Seaway system. We operate facilities in Mount Pearl, NFLD, Edwardsville, NS and Halifax, NS. Our East Coast division is also completely mobile and we have performed emergency repairs in the Arctic, all four Atlantic Provinces and Quebec.Our core activities include:- Vessel Repair, Maintenance and Overhauls (RMO)- Vessel Construction- Industrial Fabrication and Machining- Project Support
