HBCU Preparatory Schools Network

The mission of the HBCU Preparatory Schools Network is to instill an unwavering commitment to develop meaningful lives for students that in turn, help uplift their families, enhance their communities and ultimately improve our society. The HBCU Preparatory Schools Network is a national model of education implemented for our participating K-12 schools, centered around six (6) core values: • A nurturing student-centered environment • Attentive and genuinely vested teachers and staff • Stimulating classroom settings • A strong cultural foundation • College bound curriculum • Expectation of excellence and success These principles, skills and practices have been successfully mastered for the past 175 years by HBCU’s with undergraduate students and are now being applied at the elementary, middle and high school levels.
