Hardy Diagnostics is proud to serve clinical and industrial laboratories with products to diagnose and prevent disease. Hardy Diagnostics manufactures over 2,700 products used for the culture and identification of bacteria and fungi. The Hardy Diagnostics product line includes rapid test kits, prepared media (plates, tubes, bottles, and flasks), diagnostic reagents, and dehydrated culture media in the powder form, known as CRITERION™. As a distributor and “one-stop shop” for microbiologists, Hardy Diagnostics offers a complete selection of over 13,000 microbiology and laboratory products. There are about 300 employees, which includes a technical staff of microbiologists, Medical Technologists, and biochemists. In 2003, Hardy Diagnostics became an Open Book Management company, which encourages all employees to become involved in the financial management of the company's operations. The generous benefit package includes a company matched 510k program and a quarterly Profit Sharing program, which creates business partners of all employees. In addition, the company became employee owned in 2013 as an ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan). The result is a workforce highly motivated to satisfy their customers which in turn helps ensure the long-term success of the company. Hardy Diagnostics believes in giving back to the community and is actively involved in promoting and supporting a variety of local community based charities and non-profit organizations by giving 1% of its earnings annually.
