Groundwork is the UK’s leading environmental partnership organisation, active in and around more than 120 towns and cities, regenerating the environment by harnessing the resources and skills of the whole community. For over twenty years Groundwork has been working in North Kent to help rectify the environmental problems recognised by its communities, local authorities and businesses. Groundwork’s philosophy and strength lies in a partnership approach – making a difference to the lives and aspirations of the people in the communities we serve. We are committed to enabling local people to improve their own quality of life and give them back the responsibility for regeneration of their own local environment.
