GFD aggressively entered the market in Q4 of 2010 with the intention of being one of Canada’s premier drilling contractors. We believe that GFD is uniquely qualified to provide a variety of services as our management team have extensive experience in the implementation of multiple Corehole, Water Source Well, Observation Well, SAGD Well, Pre-setting and convention drilling to support an array of drilling projects that of which include mining solutions and geothermal solutions. Our highly mobile fleet of rigs is specifically designed for low impact drilling with some of our rigs capable of drilling up to a depth of 2500 meters TVD. We are able to complete multiple well projects because of the diversity of our fleet, accompanied with some of the most competent personnel in the industry. The modularization and mobility of our equipment allows GFD to provide customers with solutions in reducing their environmental foot print. Through the use of truck mounted drilling rigs and pipe trucks GFD is able to service customer lease sites ranging in sizes from 70x70 or 60x90 meters to as small as 45x45 meters(with our RBOP configuration).Our Rig Managers and Drillers all have extensive drilling and coring experience which allows for excellent core recovery and maximum efficiency. With this knowledge and expertise the experience level put forth is unmatched in class. As each operator has taken a slightly different approach to well design and project execution, this has given us a comprehensive knowledge of the various options to be considered in designing many styles of wells.
