Groot Silica has been formed to exclusively supply quality silica sand products to the Groot Glass Manufacturing Factories in Tses.Groot Silica is becoming one of the world's leading mining for the industrial sands used in the glass, oil and gas industry, and in a wide range of industrial applications with an annual production capacity of 1.5 million tonnes for the exclusive supplying of silica sand to Groot Glass and exports the surplus to the world's markets.Founded by Simon Kapenda in 2015, Groot Silica Mining (Pty) Ltd (Co.Reg.No.: 2016/0399), is a wholly operating subsidiary of Groot Management Systems (Pty) Ltd based in Oshakati, Namibia.Groot Silica seeks to be the world's best and largest producer of industrial sands such as:- Silica sand- Frac sands- Glass sands- Filter sands- Foundry sands- Sports and Horticultural sands- Equestrian sandsAll these different types of sands from the same site in Oshikango, Namibia.
