Gea.Solar is a developer company focused on utility-scale PV solar energy projects: an Italian company with a strong international presence in different emerging economies in Africa, Asia and Latin America, supporting countries in their national program to reduce dependency from fossil fuels. Gea.Solar team built an extensive pipeline of more 750MW Solar PV projects worldwide, at different stages of development, establishing as well a wide network of long-term strategic partnership with local developers in most countries, together with stable multinational partners. Gea.Solar works together with Government, National Electric Utilities, local and international financial Agencies and Institutions to create the best condition in the ground for developing PV projects. The company has currently two branches: Green Energy Africa and Green Energy Asia. We are currently operating in different countries in Africa (Ethiopia, Côte d’Ivoire, Sierra Leone,RD Congo, Senegal, Mali, Malawi); in Asia (Turkey, Azerbaijan, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Myanmar, Philippines) and in Latin America (Brazil). Our Logo shows Solar Irradiation on different continents. Gea.Solar is developing as well a dedicated program with sustainable and green energy solutions for Isolated Communities in Villages and Islands. Our “Off Grid PV plants” projects concept provides clean energy and storage to householders and to community activities (Solar Street Lights, Solar Water Pumps etc..). The program will start later in 2016 with some Pilot Projects from 100KW to 500KW.
