Gavin & Doherty Geosolutions (GDG) is an international geotechnical engineering consultancy. GDG offers foundation design and geotechnical analysis services across several sectors including offshore, infrastructure, renewables and commercial construction. The work carried out by GDG employees includes design projects such as concept designs, detailed analytical designs, numerical finite element analysis and monitoring / site inspections. Specific project examples include; concept foundation designs for offshore wind farms in the North Sea; numerical analysis of railway infrastructure; and jack-up penetration assessments in the North Sea, Irish Sea and South China Sea.
