French-American Bar Association

The French-American Bar Association (“FABA”) was founded in 2007 in the State of New York by five attorneys educated both in France and in the United States. Its headquarters are located in New York City. With Directors in New York, California and Paris, FABA is a truly global organization. FABA recognizes that developing international networks and understanding foreign legal systems is fundamental in today's global economy, as legal practitioners are often faced with the necessity to collaborate with foreign attorneys or deal with foreign laws and regulations. FABA hopes to achieve this objective by promoting an exchange of information and experiences, and through the development of a worldwide support and referral network. Most of FABA members practice in France and in the United States, although we welcome attorneys from other countries. Not organized for the private gain of anyone, FABA is a non-religious and independent organization in which no substantial part of the activities can consist of carrying on propaganda. FABA also cannot participate in or intervene in (including the publishing or distributing of statements in connection with) any political campaign on behalf of any candidate for public office.
