The Chicago operations center in Harvey is a 30-acre facility located just north of interstate I-80 and adjacent to the Canadian National Railroad. The Harvey terminal serves as the company's corporate headquarters and provides 24/7 secured trailer/container storage as well as maintenance and reefer fueling service. Fore Transportation is a C-TPAT Compliant, Customs Bonded and Haz-Mat Certified carrier, specializing in Intermodal, dry, overweight, and refrigerated transportation services throughout the Central and Eastern United States. In addition to our carrier services, Fore Transportation operates 2 secured yards for empty and loaded container storage, maintenance, and cross docking. Our yard locations are:• 250 E 167th St - Harvey, IL (adjacent to the Canadian National Railroad) Fore Transportation is the exclusive local drayage provider for many Freight Forwarders, Shippers, Custom House Brokers and Manufacturers in the Chicago Area. Handling International Drayage Shipments is the primary business for Fore Transportation and is mostly local business around the Chicago area. Fore Transportation has 100 drivers every day in the city and can handle last minute shipments at a moment’s notice. Jim vision and drive resulted in what is now Fore Transportation. It all started with a 1 truck operation over 20 years ago to the 150 truck operation it is today.
