Seeing a need to help retired clients with their financial stability, Firstar Bank launched a Reverse Mortgage Lending division in 2012. Since its inception, the division has processed 650 loans making Firstar Bank one of the top Reverse Mortgage lenders in the U.S. Jacob Stockham serves as Vice President and supervisor of Firstar Bank's Reverse Mortgage division. Stockham oversees a dozen Reverse Mortgage lenders and loan processors. He and his team educate clients who are interested in learning more about these specialized loans and work one-on-one with borrowers through the process. A Kansas native, Stockham joined the U.S. Marine Corp in 1996 and served as a Marine Squad Leader. His travels have taken him to numerous countries across 5 continents. Prior to joining Firstar Bank, Stockham worked for Urban Financial, one of the largest reverse mortgage companies in the U.S., where he oversaw reverse mortgage lending for 8 years.
