Fire Stone Wood Fired Pizza & Grill is located at 120 Chambers Street in downtown Woodstock. The restaurant features an outdoor patio space shaded by olive trees, or indoor dining options such as the cozy library area by the fireplace, or at the kitchen countertop bar. Fire Stone’s bar showcases local craft beers, signature martinis, and a diverse wine list. Using authentic imported ovens from Tuscany, Fire Stone uses homemade dough for their gourmet pizzas. Toppings include pepperoni and sausage as well as creative pairings such as spicy chicken, balsamic onions, and herbed ricotta; BBQ pork, summer corn, and cilantro; crispy shrimp, hot cherry peppers, and roasted garlic aioli; smoked salmon, red onion, dill, and capers; figs, arugula, and blue cheese; and spicy lamb chorizo, shaved onion, roasted peppers, cilantro, and lime. Gluten-free crust is available on all Fire Stone pizzas.As with Fire Stone’s pizzas, the starters and small plates are inspired by both European techniques and Southern flavors. Dishes include house salad of arugula, sun-dried peaches, roasted pecans, blue cheese, and apple cider vinaigrette; Kennebec potato chips topped with blue cheese crumbles and truffle oil; and wood-oven baked mussels with shallots, white wine, and butter. Fire Stone’s entrees also utilize the wood ovens to produce dishes such as oven baked salmon and lemon herb chicken. Adding whimsy and family fun to the menu, dessert offerings include tableside s’mores.
