FTV factory was originally named as Nokia (Vietnam). The factory was built in Vietnam in 2011 with the mission of establishing the Nokia phone production in Vietnam. As other Nokia factories in the world, Nokia built this factory with very high international standard and was recognized as one of the most well-established factories in Vietnam. In 2014, Microsoft acquired the factory, and kept on producing Nokia feature phones, and Microsoft smart phones. Then, in 2016, Foxconn acquired the factory and changed the name to FTV, and continue to produce Nokia phone.
