Provides leadership in the development and delivery of design services. Develops expectations for content and quality of design at various stages of project. Ensures timely completion of design project.: Incorporates client needs with effective design techniques, problem solving, and creativity to ensure satisfactory outcome. Participates in project decisions regarding technical approaches, cost, scheduling, and performance. Indentifies cost and schedule variances, and develops and implements corrective actions for negative variances. Updates procedures to incorporate best design management techniques. Coordinates and supervises internal and external resources. Communicates job expectations to employees. Monitors, appraises, and reviews job contributions of direct reports. Plans and reviews compensation actions and enforces policies and procedures. Accomplishes human resource objectives by training, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees.
