Federal University of Technology Akure

The Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) is situated in Akure, Ondo State, in the southwestern part of Nigeria. FUTA is a comprehensive public institution established in 1981 as one of the three key universities of technology in Nigeria. FUTA has Eight schools (colleges): School of Agriculture & Agricultural Technology,School of Computing,School of Engineering & Engineering Technology,School of Earth & Mineral Sciences,School of Environmental Technology,School of Health and Health Technology,School of Management Technology,School of Sciences, as well as several centers of excellence in research. A top ranking university in Africa, FUTA has a rich tradition of excellence.
