The Faculty of Medical Sciences medical assistance, teaching and research programs are developed in a professorial-assistantial complex, which includes the Teaching Hospital (HC), the Center for Integral Attention to Women's Health (Caism), the Hematology and Hemotherapy Center (Hemocentro), the Gastroenterology and Digestive Endoscopy Services (Gastrocentro), the Sumaré State Hospital, the Municipal Hospital “Dr. Mario Gatti” and several public health centers in the city of Campinas. The research laboratories and the existence of more than three-hundred financial projects vinculated to more than 224 research lines, allied to one of the most complete teaching and medical assistance infrastructure in the country, assure educational quality for students, involving approximately 1000 researchers and over 1000 graduate and scientific initiation students, highlighting those from the State of São Paulo Research Foundation (Fapesp). http://www.fcm.unicamp.br/fcm/institucional/institutional-information
