Family Carers UK is registered by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) under the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2010 and the Care Quality Commission (Registration) Regulations 2009. We are an independent family support organisation, working across the United Kingdom. Our philosophy personifies holistic and compassionate care. We provide community care for a wide range of clients, ensuring that they can remain at home and cared for in their own community and in an environment that is comfortable and familiar while receiving the highest standards of care.Family Carers UK specialises in Needs-Based care. We provide specialist care and support to people with learning disabilities, mental health problems, Autistic Spectrum Disorder; challenging behaviours [ a person’s behaviour can be defined as "challenging" if it puts them or those around them at risk, or leads to a poorer quality of life] We aim to provide a professional, competent, courteous, reliable, equal service that is responsive to the individual needs of our clients. Our staff are expert practitioners who are rigorously checked for the quality of their expertise and the safety of their practice.Our staff undergo rigorous recruitment selection and statutory vetting procedures. They undertake a comprehensive induction and mandatory training where they are assessed for competency prior to undertaking care work. Family Carers UK offers a comprehensive and dedicated personal and practical home care service. We provide care workers, companions, support staff; live-in-carers: and children and family services. Children and family services include, family assessments, supervised contact and family group conferences. We work in partnership with families, carers and other professionals.We always aim to deliver the best possible care and service to all our service users and their families.
