The charity has operated for over 20 years, during which time it has built up a wide portfolio of services that support the community enabling people to live their lives with dignity choice and independence. Our services are person centred, always treating people as individuals and enabling them to make choices about their own care. We offer the following wide range of great services primarily throughout Solihull and to the Wider West Midlands: • Learning Disability Service • Opportunity Day Centres – upholding dignity and respect whilst supporting independence • Short Break Unit – providing Respite Care • Community Support Services – provided by our Reach Out Team • Supported Living Schemes • Training Centre – providing internal & external care services training courses • Newlands Bishop Farm and Community Gardening Service – two independent living skills training projects for people with a learning disability • Community Befriending Scheme – personal one to one support provided by a Befriender • Drop-in centre – provides the opportunity for people to socialise with others in a safe environment. • Our Solihull Community Support Services and the Colebrook Short Stay Unit are inspected and accessed by the Quality Care Commission; both are rated as compliant with care standards. .
