Founded in 1978, Esquel is a leading Hong Kong-based textile and apparel manufacturer, offering innovative and sustainable solutions to create premium cotton shirts for global brands. Esquel’s vertical supply chain spans across cotton research, spinning, weaving, knitting, dyeing and finishing, all the way to garment manufacturing, accessories, packaging and retail. In Malaysia, we have established our operations in Penang since 1978, thereon expanding our presence to Kelantan in 1982. We are currently employing more than 2,000 people in Malaysia. By incorporating five principles known as the Esquel 5E-Culture – Ethics, Environment, Exploration, Excellence and Education – our goal here at Esquel is to contribute positively to all our stakeholders while achieving a sustainable business.
