Erna Frac Sand, LC is a privately funded industrial mineral mining company located in Mason, Texas. Our production facility is located within approximately 125 miles of the Permian Basin and 150 miles from the Eagle Ford.
Our facility specializes in mining a specific type of silica sand with very unique characteristics. Due to the sand's naturally superior shape, strength and size, it is utilized within the petroleum industry as one of the world's premier hydraulic fracturing sands.
Industry leaders within the Permian Basin and Eagle Ford have utilized over 3 billion pounds of Erna frac sand. With 24/7 mining operations, over 20 million pounds of storage, and close proximity to the nation's most prolific oil fields, Erna Frac Sand has successfully assisted E & P companies with lowering completion costs while increasing production.
