Entrepreneurial - Technical & Engineering Charter High School

E-TECHS is a project-based career and technical high school focused on serving students interested in pursuing professional STEM careers in fields such as Engineering, Medicine, Aerospace, Computers & Informatin Technology, and Business. At the urging of local businesses, the school intends to add additional career pathways in future years. The new school will be located at 850 Baring Blvd in Sparks, NV. A former community fitness center, the facility boasts two buildings and a full sized gymnasium on 5 acres. E-TECHS is a TUITION-FREE public charter school. E-TECHS has LIMITED openings and is currently accepting pre-enrollment for students in grades 9 and 10. Additional grades will be added sequentially in subsequent years: 11th in the school’s second year and 12th in the third year. E-TECHS founders have partnered with various stakeholders in the community to create a school that offers a project-based, interdisciplinary, professional career and technical education where students are immersed in an entrepreneurial culture with high academic expectations. Important features that distinguish E-TECHS includes its small school size, promotion of personal pillars such as integrity, civility and self discipline; commitment to providing a well-rounded education that includes music, art, foreign language, and physical education; along with the careful selection of high-quality teachers who are dedicated to the success and well-being of each student.
