Vision Statement
Our vision is to enable individuals with disabilities and seniors to live full and independent lives within the community.
Mission Statement
Enable, Inc. is non-profit agency devoted to supporting individuals with disabilities to live full and independent lives by providing services, supports, programs and living arrangements that promote consumer choice and full inclusion into community life.
History
Enable began as an independent, non-profit affiliate of United Cerebral Palsy of New Jersey in 1989. In recognition of our service to individuals who had disabilities other than cerebral palsy, and our expansion into a greater geographic area, the agency changed its name to Enable, Inc. in 1994. Enable serves persons and their families with cognitive and/or physical disabilities. Enable has grown through the years and now offers a variety of community based programs that promote inclusion, independence, safety and an improved quality of life for individuals with disabilities in our communities.
