Description
Information
EMI was started as a division of Edwards Manufacturing Inc., a Northwest company started in 1926. The distribution, repair and packaging division came into its own under Jim Pentz as President, from 1988 to 2000. During this time the company focused on the semiconductor business and became the leading independent high-purity pump repair company in the United States. In 2000, the EMI acronym was changed to “Engineered Machinery Inc.” The name has changed, but the people, location, and expert service remain the same. The middle of 2010 brought EMI another exciting opportunity, VOCUS. The merger coupled VOCUS with the stability of EMI and solidified our commitment to being a solutions provider for our customers.
