Emerson Training Services is an independent training provider based in East London. We specialise in providing training for safer lifting operations and associated work. Our aim is to provide a first class training service that meets the needs of all of our clients; from individuals to principal contractors. CITB Cskills NVQ Assessment Centre In early 2015 Emerson Training Services became an approved Cskills Awards Centre meaning we can now offer Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Controlling Lifting Operations - Slinger/Signaller, Level 4 NVQ Diploma in Supervising Lifts and Level 5 NVQ Diploma in Planning Lifts. In addition, Emerson Training Services have also launched launched a 1 day Emergency First Aid at Work Training and 1 day Health & Safety Awareness course which has been designed to highlight potential hazards when working on site and provide practical advice on keeping yourself and your colleagues safe. he Construction Plant Competence Scheme (CPCS) is the most widely recognised card scheme for plant operators and users within the UK Construction Industry. The scheme requires operatives to have passed a health & safety test before attempting a CPCS Technical Test (see the ‘Health & Safety Test’ section). The CPCS Technical Tests are of a high standard and are designed to assess operatives abilities in the safe & efficient use of the equipment. The CPCS uses a two-tier card system for recognition of operator experience: · Red ‘Trained Operator’ card; awarded on successful completion of a CPCS Technical Test · Blue ‘Competent Operator’ card; awarded on successful completion of the relevant NVQ Our courses and experienced trainers will provide the knowledge, training and guidance to give candidates the best chance of being successful in the CPCS Technical Test.
