Our roots are strong. And our future is even stronger. In April 2008, two outstanding and respected organizations–Brewster Center Domestic Violence Services (established in 1963) and Tucson Centers for Women and Children (established in 1975)–came together to form Emerge Center Against Domestic Abuse. Emerge is the largest provider of domestic abuse prevention services and programs in Southern Arizona. Our Programs Include: Emergency shelter Housing program Outreach and advocacy centers Prevention, education, and volunteer programs We are committed to improving and expanding services to all members of our community who are experiencing domestic abuse in their lives. Our mission says it all: Emerge Center Against Domestic Abuse provides the opportunity to create, sustain, and celebrate a life free from abuse. It takes courage for individuals to seek help and take that first step toward making a change. We are an organization that addresses all forms of abusive behavior, not just physical violence. It’s why we are here. We help our participants find their way to a better life.
