Electronic Coast Norway

Electronic Coast is an industry association and competence cluster. Electronic Coast is an independent association that works with arena and networking to strengthen value creation and innovation in electronics and ICT-based companies in Vestfold. Electronic Coast was formally founded as an association in 2003 with its own general manager. Project collaboration between members of the association has history back to the 80's. In 2006, the cluster received a 10-year project as a Norwegian Center of Expertise Nano and Microtechnology (NCE MNT). The brand NCE MNT is still in use for the Electronic Coast environment. Electronic Coast works with competence development, recruitment and resource sharing among its members. Electronic Coast operates active profiling, contact and impact on behalf of member companies. Electronic Coast will strengthen regional R & D activity at the University of South Eastern Norway, Vestfold.Microtech Innovation (MTI) is the facilitator of Electronic Coast. Since 2001, MTI has led the cluster development and development of common resources for the development and commercialization of technology-based ideas.
