Edinburgh Young Professionals (EYP) aims to encourage relaxed socialising and networking for the city’s motivated future leaders. While older members of the city’s business community have already established their contacts and regularly attend business functions, we recognised that there was nothing aimed at the younger or more junior professionals at the beginning of their careers. Given the current economic climate, we feel that it is imperative that we are able to equip ourselves with a network of contacts that will be of assistance to us as we progress up the career ladder. We therefore aim to put on a number of social networking events throughout the year to give us all the opportunity to meet fellow, like-minded peers from across a whole range of industries in a friendly, relaxed environment.
