Volunteering is a way of life instead of a one-day event, hence each volunteer is expected to teach twice a week for an hour each at one of the 92 schools. eVidyaloka model focuses on improving the quality of education that children in rural India receive by filling the gap of lack of quality teachers, with 2,500+ volunteer teachers at eVidyaloka giving educational lessons in the respective local language to 20,000+ children in 10 states of India.
