This workshop will be held in Cambridge, MA and will provide an overview of the cancer drug development process and incorporates patient advocate attendees as a crucial contributor to ensure that the importance of patient voice is reflected throughout the drug discovery and development process. The newly launched Harvard-MIT Center for Regulatory Science is co-hosting the event with Duke University. Through a mix of interactive, moderated discussions and lectures from experts in the FDA, academia, and patient advocacy, this training allows for the frank and informative sharing of best practices and efficiencies for the development and marketing of new anticancer agents. There is a special session for patient advocates on September 28 providing additional fundamentals that will enable them to get the most out of their workshop experience and discussions.
