Based out of Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, D.P. Murphy Inc. was founded by Danny Murphy in 1980 with the opening of two Tim Horton’s restaurants on Prince Edward Island. Since then, the company has grown to include five premier brand names throughout Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Quebec. They also operate Oak Acres Children’s Camp in various locations across Eastern Canada. The company’s hotel division has earned many accolades and operates many award winning properties.
