Downtown Dallas, Inc. (DDI) is the principle advocate, champion and steward of Downtown, affecting change by developing strategies, setting targets and mobilizing resources that: - Stimulate a vibrant and sustainable Downtown environment - Improve infrastructure - Enhance economic competitiveness - Create a culturally inclusive urban center - Position the area as a global destination Downtown Dallas has repositioned itself in recent years as not just the largest employment center in North Texas, but also as a premier destination to live, dine, shop, and be entertained. New retailers, restaurants and cultural spots are opening at a more aggressive pace than ever, and with the adoption of expanded Downtown boundaries, a new Downtown has emerged. Downtown Dallas is made up of fifteen districts, each with enough to discover and explore for weeks on end.
