The Dominican Province of the Most Holy Name of Jesus (Western Dominican Province) belongs to the international Order of Preachers (aka Dominicans), and is called by the Roman Catholic Church to evangelize in the name of Jesus Christ for the salvation of souls.

The Province consists of approximately 150 friars operating in parishes, campus ministries, teaching and preaching posts, international missions, and a variety of other specialized apostolates. Learn more at www.opwest.org.

Like St Dominic, we believe that Jesus Christ is the truth that sets us free and the way by which everyone can receive the blessing of friendship with God and eternal life. It was out of mercy and love for his fellow men and women that Dominic founded us nearly 800 years, so that every souls may come to know, love and serve Jesus Christ.
