Digi America Inc, formerly New Brunswick International Inc. (NBI Digi), was founded in 1974 as the exclusive US distributor of Digi brand Japanese supermarket scales and automated wrappers. Since our inception, NBI Digi has aggressively broadened the Digi brand across the United States and expanded our selling territory to include both Central America and the Caribbean. During that time, NBI Digi has added major retailers like Costco, Walmart Central America, Ahold USA, Winco, and H.E.B. as valued and loyal customers. On September 15th, 2017, after 43 years of independently operating as the sole US distributor of Digi, NBI Digi was acquired by the brand manufacturer, Teraoka Seiko Co. Ltd. As of January 1st, 2018, NBI Digi officially changed the company name to Digi America Inc. (DAI).
