Diamond World is an arm of The Diamond Technology Centre which has created an enviable brand name since its inception and built a strong internal team and infrastructure. Diamond World seeks to create a gateway between African diamonds and the rest of the world. With our ethically sourced gems we seek to find ways where at each stage both ends of the supply chain are satisfied. The business model is based on purchasing at source thereby eliminating the traditional layers of agents and brokers. Diamonds are mostly set in our own cutting centre, thereby shortening the supply chain. Hence an efficient cost structure enables us to offer competitive prices. Whether you choose to buy rough or polished stones we aim to provide the end product to our client’s specification. In the uniqueness of the product and service we offer, we welcome clients to view our centres. In Botswana and Zimbabwe where our cutting and polishing centres are located, clients are invited to visit. Without committing large financial outlays to orders, we allow our clients to view the processing of the stones. Clients will then be offered an option to enter an agreement or make a one off purchase. No amount of money is demanded at this point. The Client simply places their order and the order is processed through a secure system. Funds are held in an escrow account until the buyer is satisfied that they have received the goods they ordered. All stones are kimberley processed and the cut and polished stones are certified.Diamond World is conscious about its corporate and moral responsibilities to its clients. Consequently, our diamonds are ethically sourced. We source diamonds from the DRC, Angola, Botswana and Zimbabwe among others. Our parent company, Diamond Technology Centre has been in the diamond business for more than a decade, hence it should come as no surprise that we know what we are doing. When you order loose diamonds , we ship them to you with the accompanying diamond grading report / certificates. Along with the global diamond industry, Diamond World has a zero-tolerance policy toward conflict diamonds. Through measures such as the Kimberley Process, which tracks diamonds from mine to market, the industry in partnership with the United Nations, governments, and non-governmental organizations, polices diamond exports to prevent the trade of illegal diamonds. At Diamond World, we only purchase diamonds through the largest and most respected suppliers who, like us, proudly adhere to and enforce the standards established by the Kimberley Process. All our diamonds are warranted to be conflict free. If one of our suppliers was ever found to be in violation of that process, we would immediately sever that relationship. We will continue to support and promote any process that works to uphold legitimacy in the diamond trade.
