Derwentside College is situated in Consett, County Durham and is a provider of post 16 education and training. The college supports adult and young learners by offering full-time courses for school leavers, Access courses for those wishing to progress into Higher Education (HE), part-time courses and a range of apprenticeships and traineeships. The college now works with over 1,200 local and national employers supporting over 6,000 apprentices.Our Mission Derwentside College provides high quality education and training that focuses on developing the knowledge, skills and qualities needed by our learners to progress into sustained employment and build successful careers.
