The Disaster Emergency Response Association, Inc. (DERA) was founded in 1962 and is an international association of individuals and organizations active in all phases of emergency preparedness, community support, public safety, disaster response, professional support, training and development. We have members in all 50 U.S. states and in over 42 countries around the world.

DERA is a 100% unpaid, volunteer organization whose members are dedicated to serving people and communities in need.
