The Department of Child Safety, Youth and Women aims to see that all Queenslanders are safe and thriving in families and communities. The department was established in early 2018, driven by a focus on better outcomes for children, young people, women and families. We contribute to the Advancing Queensland’s Priorities by working to enable children, young people, women and families to be safe and to thrive in culture and communities, and to prevent and respond to crime, violence, abuse and neglect.⚠️The Queensland Government is now in caretaker mode until after the state election.
