Dearborn Group is the trade name for Dearborn Life Insurance Company. Since 1969, we have partnered with more than 25 Blue plans and have been providing ancillary benefits to employer groups across the country.As the ancillary subsidiary of Health Care Service Corporation (HCSC), we kicked off a multiyear business transformation in 2019 to sell and service our ancillary products under the Blue Cross and Blue Shield brand in Illinois, Montana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas. We are proud to be able to brand our products Blue, and we are excited to offer this capability with other Blue plans. This gives us the flexibility to compete with national and commercial carriers by executing and leveraging on the promise of the Blue brand.When combined with Blue medical coverage, our suite of employer-paid and voluntary insurance solutions—life, short- and long-term disability, vision, critical illness and accident insurance—creates a comprehensive benefits package and gives employers, their employees, and their families complete peace of mind.
