DC Web Women

DC Web Women is a professional organization of more than 3000 members located in the Washington, D.C. metro area. Our members are professional technologists, students, and enthusiasts who specialize in the fields of blogging, copy writing, computer science, editing and proofreading, e-marketing, graphic design, information technology, marketing/communications, multimedia, search engine marketing and optimization, social media, web analytics, web content, web design, web development, and web editing.We are a 501(c)(6), not-for-profit trade association that was created to promote women in Web-related careers. DCWW is one of the premier technology organizations located in the Washington metropolitan area. In addition to our many tech seminars, panels, and networking events, DCWW also provides career development classes and workshops.As part of our goal to support the DC tech scene, DCWW also partners with other like-minded local tech and non-tech communities and groups as well as participates in major tech trade shows such as FOSE and Digital East.DCWW is committed to the support and advocacy of women and girls in technology by providing a community in which they can develop, nurture, and promote their leadership, technical and professional skills.
