Originally founded in 1946 post World War II by the Old Boys of Darlington Queen Elizabeth Grammar School, Mowden Park are a historic club from the North East of England that has been on a distinguished journey for over half a century.Mowden Park’s unique resurrection of the 25,000 seater Arena has given it title as the largest rugby club venue in the country, with only England’s HQ Twickenham Stadium representing a greater rugby specific capacity.
