Dalian Shide Plastics Industry Co., Ltd. is the cornerstone of Dalian Shide Group. Originally, it was founded in August 1995 in the form of a joint venture between Shide Group and Theysohn Company (Germany). Dalian Shide Plastics Industry became the largest PVC sectional building material producer in the world and the leading supplier of plastic doors and windows in China, the most exciting and prosperous construction market of this new century. Its annual output is projected to reach 500,000 in 2002, 700,000 in 2007 and eventually 1,500,000 in 2015. In 1998, it was the first profile enterprise to receive the ISO9002 quality control system certification in China. In 2001, Shide was given the honorary title of “Industrialized Base for Chemical Building Materials” by China's Ministry of Construction a first in China.
