The site is owned and managed by the United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority. As one of the most successful science locations in the country and with Big Science facilities at its core, CSC hosts the UK’s internationally renowned fusion research programmes, combining materials and plasma science with advanced engineering. Our secure site with exceptional facilities is home to a number of private and public sector organisations employing 2,500 people.
