Credo Community Center for the Treatment of Addictions, Inc. began in 1973 as a grassroots effort to combat drug use in Northern New York, and has grown to become one of the leading substance use and mental health providers in the region. Under the leadership of respected, dedicated staff and passionate board members, Credo boasts a full continuum of services including two outpatient treatment locations in Watertown, NY, and Lowville, NY, a residential youth program set on 115 acres of beautiful farmland, a women's intensive residential program, and two men's community residences.
Recently opened in spring 2014, Credo's Outpatient Mental Health Clinic addresses the need to serve a large client population with co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders. The first of many exciting new additions to the Credo spectrum of services, the Mental Health Clinic is currently accepting any individuals in the community in need of mental health services with no waiting list.
