Credit Union Loan Source

CU Loan Source is a full-service originator of prime indirect auto loans for credit union participants. It was organized and chartered by the Georgia Secretary of State on Sept 2, 2004 as a Georgia Limited Liability Company. The original and current owners / members of the company are Delta Community Credit Union, Atlanta Postal Credit Union, Georgia’s Own Credit Union and The Georgia Credit Union Services, Inc. These are three Georgia state chartered credit unions and the wholly owned subsidiary of the Georgia Credit Union League. CU Loan Source's focus is to source auto loan assets for the three credit union owners along with providing participations to other credit unions and investors. Currently a total of 19 credit unions in Georgia and Illinois have purchased participations from CULS. CULS was built with the idea that collaboration in a specialized market could enhance production volume, managerial competence and improve risk management practices. As of December 2017, CU Loan Source portfolio balances have surpassed $1.4 billion. Loans have been purchased from 540 dealers in ten states, with additional states being added as appropriate.
